Ok, so now, a while after I did it, I am remembering to blog about it. Feedster is neat. Though all I did was type in libraries under "search blogs" and nothing outstaning libraryish came up. I did get the merlin news feed though.

Web 2.0

After reading two of the five perspectives on Web 2.0, Library 2.0, and the futre of libraries, I found that the "3 Icebergs" of libraries very interesting. Not only from staff perspective but also from a patrons point of view.

18 reasons why online productivity works

Okay, so I dont have 18 reasons...that would take FOREVER and I dont have that much time right now. It was just to be an informative title as this is THING 18. I think that the online word processing is an amazing idea. I am glad I learned about it. I will definately make things easier transfering documents so you dont end up with jibberish. Search rolls have their ups and downs and their bumps along the way. For me they are not that useful because I dont spend that my time on the internet. I dont search very much. Its a Library Thing

What are libraries for after all? Sharing books, of course. Sooo...this website lets other people recommend to you or let you recommend to them a ton of great books that you can find in your local library. Generate an Image

Generating images such as this is something I am really interested in. Normally though, I don't use generators...I totally start from scratch and go from there. In fact, I am majoring in graphic designing (which entails some of this sort of thing). I might add some of my own work to this blog later, for now here is the end of thing nine.

Do You Bite Your Nails??

Come on now and be honest...everyone has at one point in time. And what did you mother say when she caught you? "That is a BAD habit." Well life long learners is trying to instill 7 and a 1/2 good habits. The easiest one for me would be Habit 1 "Begin with the end in mind" and the hardest would have to be Habit "View problems as challenges."

Flickr is a really interesting site. This photo web connection not only allows professional photographers to show their stuff but also gives amateurs a chance to enhance their own work. Its just a cool way to share pictures easily. In this fast paced world where every thing is digital, Flickr really plays a part to enable the world to show off their photos to the world.

tech-no-logy

A post on a piece of technolgy that fasinates me? Hmm...that would have to be my Polaroid MP3 player. I have a brand new one and finally got lots of music uploaded onto it so that I can take it on my trip Jersey! The Polaroid not only does music, but also pictures and videos and FM radio. My technology enjoyment for the week!
(dont ask about the computer....AHHH it is WAY to slow for me today!)

My Car

I have a car!!! I first saw "my car" on Saturday 30. After thinking and praying about it...it was decided that on Monday, July 2, 2007, I would purchase the 1994 Chrysler Concorde. It is a medium blue with a gray bottom. Although I payed for the car on Monday, it wasn't until Thursday evening that I was able to finally drive the car (due to getting tags.) It drives wonderfully. I am so happy...no more being pick up late from work! Any ideas on a name?

Don't ask... Writing creativity, for me, is impossible! So, looking around the "office" for ideas, I spotted a xerox box and wahlaa!

This blog really has no direct purpose...whatever is going on with me is what will be on the blog. Maybe eventually it will develop into something else...
